Carolina Pen Company Charleston Ishime Urushi

This fountain pen began its days as an acrylic version of Jonathon Brooks' Charleston model. I reached out to Jonathon after the fact to have him apply urushi lacquer to the pen. The process took about 10 months to complete. I met him in person at Dromgoole's in Houston for pickup. The cap and barrel are of the ishime technique and the section is smooth to the touch also coated in lacquer. The color is a dark navy blue almost black. There are a couple of very small imperfections to the section nearest to where the nib unit would begin and are pictured in the photos. They are visual only and cannot be felt. Wabi-sabi. The pen does not include a nib unit or converter but will accept a Jowo #6 and standard converter. As the pen does not include a nib unit, I will rate the condition a [D]. However, given the wabi-sabi of the section, I'll rate the rest of the pen a [C]. I am asking $500. Shipping will be an additional $10 which includes USPS Priority Mail and insurance. CONUS buyers only please. This pen will include a She Designs Nepal artisan pen sleeve. I do not have an original box but the pen will be packed securely for safe travel. Please pay using PayPal Goods and Services. Please comment on this post prior to sending me a chat request.

Wahl-Eversharp Decoband Gatsby Orange Chased Ebonite

Purchased from Kingdom Note in Japan. Orange chased pattern ebonite barrel with rhodium trim along with an 18K gold Goldflex #8 sized nib and black ebonite feed and pneumatic filling system. The internal sac has been checked and is in great shape. Conservatively, I would rate the condition of the fountain pen a [B]. I am asking $775. Shipping will be an additional $10 which includes USPS Priority Mail and insurance. CONUS buyers only please. The original box is included. Also includes a pen sleeve from Pen and Message Kobe. Please pay using PayPal Goods and Services. Please comment on this post prior to sending me a chat request.

Pelikan 2013 M800 Tortoiseshell Brown

A grail for many, myself included. This pen needs no introduction. It is beautiful. This fountain pen features a gold double broad BB nib. Conservatively, I would rate the condition of the fountain pen a [B]. There may be a few micro scratches from use but I am nitpicking. There may be one or two tiny specks in the trim ring near the nib. Again, I am nitpicking. The pen has seen very little use. It has been kept at home safe and sound. I am asking $1250. Shipping will be an additional $10 which includes USPS Priority Mail and insurance. CONUS buyers only please. The original box is included. Please pay using PayPal Goods and Services.
