Best Weather App for Thunderstorm Averison

My dog is absolutely terrified of thunderstorms. Does anyone have a really reliable weather app they recommend to help us have more time to medicate him? Last night we totally missed the storms that were going to roll through and they just kept coming. My weather app didn’t even show anything until it was on top of us. So buddy didn’t get any event meds and he had a rough time. Any ideas would be helpful. If there’s one that does push notifications for storms that would be great. Thanks for your ideas!
