Question for my fellow IG players

Recently, let's say the past month or so, I've noticed that game severely slows down my internet speed. For example, if I'm running YouTube in another tab, the video becomes choppy. Occasionally, my window will become unresponsive as well. This happens only if I have IG open.

Has anyone else been experiencing this or any other similar issue recently?

I'm using Google Chrome on a Windows 11 home desktop computer.
