I tried and feel frustrated with extraction shooters
So as the title said, recently I heard a lot of new extraction shooters (DeltaForce, Arc Raiders) are popular, as well as the “classics” (EfT, Hunt), and my brothers are playing them and swore to me it was fun and I had to try.
I thought I would like the high stakes looting, but turns out I just felt beat when I got killed by players and losing all my stuff.
But I don’t understand why I felt this. I played a lot of roguelikes/lites, where a single mistake could cost you your 2 hour run, like ROR2 and darkest dungeon, and they don’t feel as frustrating as Extraction shooters when I die.
I get that in order to enjoy these harder games you need to be better at it first, but I played both hunt and Delta force for around 50 hrs each, and are still getting my ass kicked back to lobby, without any signs of improving. Are these games just not for me?
