How much snow should I expect in hiking trails in El Chalten/TDP in April?

I'm traveling through Patagonia (El Calafate -> El Chalten -> PN -> TDP) from April 6th to 21st. How much snow should I expect in the hiking trails? Do I need crampons on top of a good hiking shoes?
