.tif/.svs Image viewer - Looking for something simple
Hi Everyone,
Hoping you might be able to help me find a barebones image viewer or slide application for use with our digital slides.
Our needs: A simple Image viewer - does NOT have to be pathology/histology focused. It just needs to do the following things - seriously nothing fancy:
- MUST work on Mac (the boss uses macs)
- Open a .tif or .svs file
- Allow us to scroll in and out of the image
- GPU accelerated/parallel processing (this is why we can't use Huron)
- Allow us to use snipping tool to grab a screen shot and/or have this natively built in that allows us save it as a jpeg or copy/paste it into a powerpoint.
What we use now: Qupath -It's great, I love it, it works on Mac and PC. But for folks that aren't me, and that just want to click an image, open it, and screen cap something, it's a bit cumbersome.
Curious what else is out there, preferably free, and what you like to use. Thanks!
