Am I just paranoid or was this paranormal?

So, this incident just happened less than ten minutes ago. I was sleeping, and having a dream that was really odd. It was in first person, I was just staring down a really bright, ornate yellow church hallway. I don't think I was moving? Something that was off to me was that I didn't actually *feel* like I was in my body unlike most vivid dreams, I felt like I was just completely terrified and stuck. I don't have religious trauma. I wasn't raised religious, and I am still atheist & sometimes leaning towards agnostic.

The real thing I'm concerned about was the terror feeling suddenly ramped up, and I felt like I had to run or it was going to GET ME. Edgy, yes, but it was terrifying in the moment. At this point, I still was just seeing a photo or a backdrop of a really fancy ornate church hallway. Then in the dream the unseen, and unheard 'thing' got me. I woke up like any nightmare, but my ENTIRE body felt like it got thrown to the side & then felt like something jumped off of me, like a cat that had been sitting on your chest and bounced off at full speed.

Was this a nightmare or was something (spirit etc) actually trying to do something to me?

(Please be nice, I've always had anxiety around the paranormal since I was a kid.)
