So are non-PoE doorbells really gone for good?

Do we know for sure Ubiquiti is out of the wifi-only doorbell business?

They still list G4 Doorbell (UVC-G4-Doorbell) on their store, just seems to be forever "out of stock".

F'ing pissed... running cat6 will be a nightmare. Surprised they're just giving up on the wifi doorbell space.

Confused though if I could use the 2-wire retro kit to get POE into the chime box where there are of course 2 wires going to the doorbell today. Is that wiring sufficient to carry the signal to a G4 Pro or G6 Entry WITHOUT touching the doorframe and exterior at all?
