Is the “accounting suck” a phase?

I’ve been interested in accounting and want to do it but, I’ve heard from people on here saying they hate it and how it mentally kills you. Thats what really is pushing me away from this career and thinking blue collar sounds easier lol. So I would like to know even if you bad experiences is it just a phase, or is this what to expect for accounting.
