Sharon Paice MacLeod, whose scholarship I appreciate, makes a connection in "Celtic Cosmology and the Otherworld" between The Morrigan and Rhiannon - based on name meaning primarily but also with Macha/Epona. It makes sense to me (as does her analysis on Danu, Anu, Anand) but I'd love to hear thoughts.
