Skeptical about time skip

I’m seeing multiple things saying there will be a time skip between season 3 and 4 and I’m not sure how I feel about that with so many storylines left on a cliffhanger. If Larian ended up fizzling out, or they got married during that skip I will riot! The way season 3 ended was perfect for a direct continuation in season 4.
