FAFSA rejected due to foreign income?

hello everyone! my FAFSA was flagged for review, specifically the section “Income Earned in Foreign Country in 2023.” one of my parents indicated that they did not earn any income in 2023 and therefore did not file a U.S. tax return, since she currently lives outside the U.S. and she has no job. the notice says i need to make a correction, but the information we provided is accurate. has anyone dealt with this before? if so, how were you able to resolve it? thank you in advance!
