Should I get a blue heeler?

I want to get a blue heeler puppy SO SO SO bad. But only problem is that I work 6 hours a day. If I go on a long hike before and after work, and even do mental stimulation, would that be fine? Or is 6 hours too long? Everyone pls help(also mb if post not good this is my first Reddit post ever)
