Followers

I’m curious about followers. I’ve been selling since last August, and I’ve only listed <150 items (I’ve sold about 50).

I don’t really interact or share other sellers’ listings, but I have 20K followers. (Although I know some sellers have hundreds of thousands, or more.) I’ve heard they’re bots, but how does that work? I’ve clicked on random closets from my list of followers many times, and they all seem genuine to me. What’s the point of follower bots, and whose bots are they? 🤖🤖🤖
