Informant networks
so there may be people around me who are informants - one a former police officer that was ”wrongly convicted” which I’m starting to think was a cover so he wouldn’t be suspected. anyway, I think some may also be foreign informants - some have been pressuring me to say I am not American which is false - I suspect spying on an American calls under espionage hence the pressure and coercive tactics and attempts to drive me crazy since I’ve been here.
in any case - being an informant is not in my plans but if there are Americans spying on other Americans it kind of feels like a duty to tell the story. Especially the tactics and instances I observed that can help others identify said people. DEI really plays a role in this given an informant or covert network relies on someone with a record to gain trust of those they are trying to catch.
I can honestly go on and on about my observations across industries and even online. I think not having DEI sort of threw a wrench into an infrastructure I don’t even realize existed. Fair chance being another thing to think about in these instances.
