How do I stop GLM from actively being involved and writing dialogues for every single scene ??

im new to using glm 4.7/4.6 and ive noticed this one thing that it makes the bot get personally involved in every single scene for example if bot and oc are in two seperate places and im describing my side of things say thoughts wtv, instead of following the same pattern the bot always comes over to where oc is to start a conversation.

sometimes I want to know how the character is observing things/ thinking about/ interacting with NPCs but glm is constantly making the bot barge into ocs space even if it goes against the current flow of the plot

is there any prompt to fix this ?
