Why are a lot of guys/boys misogynists??

As a teen girl, I've noticed a lot of the media and content teen boys consume/share lately seems to normalize misogyny or gender inequality. Why do you think this is becoming so common, and why does it seem like many guys don't see anything wrong with it?
