what happend to the forgetting human vs Ai foreshadowing?

i remember back in the episode where the yellow Crocodile fella was introduced Caine said a line about not being able to tell the difference between real characters and Ai.

I felt alot like foreshadowing but inalot lf the theories i now read about what they think the ending will be nobody mentions this anymore

is it a dead theory one of the cast is Ai? or is it still relevant in some theories i just havnt seen yet
