Deferred Maintenance at East Mountain Country Club Results (Westfield) in Sign Collapse
I don't know it for a fact, I just know its true that when the previous generation of management retired from their board positions at East Mountain Country Club (on East Mountain Rd in Westfield), and the new generation took over, the new kids dialed down the budgets for maintenance and upped their personal compensation.
My evidence for this is that two weeks ago, the sign on the tree belt was so rotten it collapsed and it took them more than a week to even pick it up and haul it away. Sadly, I didn't get a picture because there were too many cars behind me for me to slow down and the space available for pulling over is negligible. How absentee do you have to be to not notice that your sign is days away from rotting and falling over?
Also, the vinyl siding looks dirty as hell, the trim siding is cracked/ busted in numerous places. The concrete steps are broken at the edges / corners, too.
