how to change language

so this is my second time modding a 3ds XL and i‘m still really really new. this second one is from japan, and i’m having trouble switching some games languages. i got zero escape vlr and ztd and they are both in spanish, i installed the luma translating thing and it didn’t help much. should i delete and install them from hshop? (as i had previously gotten them from the ghosteshop) also having trouble finding zero escape 999, as it is a ds game, but i couldn’t find it anywhere! any help/ tips or tricks are very much appreciated!!!
