Traffic at Sonoma Sportscar Alt

GT4/LMP3 is at Sonoma Sportscar Alt this week and I'm having a blast with the LMP3. First time running this track and was a challenge learning the elevation changes, but I got it to my satisfaction.

What I'm having issues is navigating traffic in the whole sequence of the esses, from after the hairpin up until the backstraight? (the straight part before the last hairpin).

I can take those corners flat out with the LMP3, but GT4s need to brake. I either need to do some risky shit which gets me an off track so I don't murder people (and I don't want to do this), or I brake to slot behind the GT4 and a lose a lot of time.

Am I making a mistake by slotting behind the GT4s and I should just tap the brakes to take a tighter line and hope the GT4 doesn't go for the apex on the next sequence of corner, or what should I do?
