Can the WordPress.org Microsoft 365 Copilot connector be used with a WP Engine site?

I'm trying to give my corporate Microsoft Copilot tenant access to all content on my WordPress intranet site, which is hosted by WP Engine.

Microsoft has a connector that looks like it would do exactly what I want, but before I go to corporate IT to try to make this happen I need to make sure I've got all of my ducks in a row. Because my site is hosted by WP Engine, I thought it would NOT qualify as a WordPress.org website. Copilot says that ANY website that uses WordPress as its CMS is a WordPress.org site. Which is right?

I know this is probably a really basic question, but as someone who has very casually tinkered in WordPress for 15+ years I don't know the answer. Thanks!
