How to pet a cat

I was giving my boy scritches and turned to continue reading Reddit. I didn’t stop the scritching. I also stopped moving my hand. I realized what was happening when I felt him moving his head. Why bother trying to figure out what he likes best? Just start somewhere and he’ll tell you where to go!
