Sizing help

Hello all,

I have a question about sizing as the title says. So I’m trying to buy a pair of swimming trunks off of ssense, they’re on a pretty good sale, but the measurements are a little off to me in the size guide? I was wondering if you all could give some suggestions. I am 62 and 250 pounds. I know I’m a pretty big guy, and I’ve been told Palm Angels can fit kind of small? Would a double XL be good enough for a 38 inch waist? Again the size guide is weird so sorry about the long explanation. I’m just a little nervous to pull the trigger because this is final sale and I won’t be able to return them if they’re the wrong size. Any help would be appreciated!
