Financial aid bargain

Hi! I recently got accepted to HOFSTRA with a 37k / year scholarship. I am an intl student so unfortunately to Federal Aid for me. Has someone ever been able to get more money from them by bargaining? If yes, how and how much. Thanks in advance!
