What's the situation with squatters in Spain?

I want to rent out my apartment in Madrid which is still property of the bank legally with a contract so I wanted to know what the risks are if the tenants decide to avoid paying rent and stay there. I read that there has been an anti-squatting law introduced last year but I can't be sure.
