Hi all! Thanks for the tips and encouragement in the previous post. Super helpful. :)

I usually practice slow flying for a whole hour before I start racing in the game. It is sooo helpful for warmup! I mentioned more about it in a previous post.

A friend got me an adjustable lanyard for my controller. What length do you all have yours adjusted to? They also lent me their body camera holder so here is a boring practice recording where I am standing and holding my controller while flying.

There is a map in the game called Paris Drone Festival. It is so unforgiving! I am training for that. Low altitude, tight spaces.

I notice that sometimes I just hold my breath a lot while flying, or I move my actual body a lot when I get stressed. I also grip the controller too tightly in my right hand so when I ended this one hour practice session, my right thumb was just shaking a lot.

I was flying around like this for half an hour at about 15 mph before this recording. Here, I start to just experiment with flying faster because I already warmed up and at a lower altitude and just messing around with yaw pitch, roll, and throttle just to see what happens.

I feel like it’s such a mental sport. Whenever I notice I am not feeling calm or not breathing regularly, then I notice that is typically when I’m just bound to mess up. Feel free to leave any feedback!

Enjoy!
