Exhausted vent

just here to vent because where else can you go. still lucky enough to be remote (for now). the entire week I’ve worked my full shift, only got up to get water and food to eat at my desk and maybe a bathroom break…maybe 10 minute of my whole work day. worked an hour over every day. today I worked 3 hours over. am I getting paid for it, no….but is my workload so high that it will help me stay on target…yes. But we are scum of the earth bureaucrats according to the news who do nothing and slack all day. we are understaffed and they want to still keep chopping the rolls. 18 years in, I really do love my job. I love what I do to serve the mission on my part. but this crap is getting old. Trying to hold hope that this won’t last forever. It is unprecedented after all. But I’ll never understand why we are the target of the media…and even veterans now too. I do see that people are starting to open their eyes and see it for what it is…but still. I want my moral and joy back.
