People hate my practical approach, they rather talk and talk and talk

I work at a nonprofit. Part of a working group to help strengthen our systems and processes. however this working group takes people from other areas (product, program, research) etc.

I made. a quick gantt chart to get started on action items. Laid out a few concrete items we can achieve. the research and product people raised their hands immediately and said they looked at our scope and they don't want to do it.

they instead want to make scoping documents of scoping documents. nothing concrete, no actioning of tasks, just spewing pseudo-intellectual BS that means nothing. Sick of it.
