Needing an apartment ASAP

So I have some questions and I’m honestly at the end of my rope, I need to find an apartment asap rocky and my fiancé and I keep getting denied because they want his tax records for the last 4 years even though we provided bank statements AT THE BEGINNING FOR BOTH OF US they onlyyyy want his? And also we had a previous eviction from 2021 that my fiance worked himself to the bone to be able to pay off in full cause they told us we pay that off we could get in, we did and then they asked for tax records and it’s like we take two steps forward to get sent back 9 more.

I need guidance and advice cause I see people on here who get an apartment and they don’t even have a job but I working 40 hours plus traveling for work am side eyed STILL?! I am at a loss and I genuinely wanna give up. Last place even gave us our keys and apartment number then randomly wanted his tax information? My credit is 0 since the eviction came off and I know you need credit to prove financial stability but I just now got a car at 25 and learned to drive. At 18 I had no credit had barely been at my job and they accepted me with open arms now I’m 25 NEEDING THIS and get told no no no you need more and it’s like I can’t come up for air man. No family no friends for help I just need advice and to not be judged cause i was a kid who was shoved into an apartment with “family” who never paid their rent so all of us got evicted.
