Don’t have Chat GPT write your resume

Currently hiring for a position and today I interviewed a candidate who on their resume in their current role had literally word for word the exact description of the role we posted on LinkedIn listed as their description, just slightly rearranged. When I opened the resume before the interview I didn’t even want to go through with it because it was clear to me the candidate used AI. But HR insisted we still do the interview. Asked her two questions that would have been easy if the description of her current role was accurate, and she couldn’t answer either. Ended the interview right there and then. Lying on your resume or using AI may get you to the interview, but it won’t get you through it. We have now flagged her profile and any time she applies to our company the flag can be seen by the hiring manager. Please don’t ruin your chances by doing this!!
