Have to wait 3 days to play again because I wanted to try the new weapon

this is a pretty dumb design. just wanted to try it out and see how it felt in pvp turns out I don't like it, now I have to wait 3 days to convert the inner ways back. why's this a thing? why not just allow conversions especially when a new weapon is released right before the weekend? I'm locked out of what I want to play/what I usually play just because I wanted to test the new thing? I mean c'mon
