My (27f) boyfriend (28m) doesn’t seem to start a life together.

Don’t know how to navigate this situation. We have been together for 2 years. I’m in love with him, but he seems to not understand I’m ready to start building a life and a family together. We’ve talked about our future together and he says he does want to, but doesn’t feel comfortable leaving his parents alone yet. He pays all their bills and the mortgage while his parents save all their check. He says that as an only child he can’t leave his parents with a mortgage and no savings due to them being almost retiring age. I love this man, but he says house won’t be paid off until 5 years from now and by then I’ll be in my 30s and I feel it will be too late to start family. Not sure if I should move on. I need to know how it goes living alone as a couple now.
