Sallochy campsite in May - which pitch type?

Not doing the WHW but asking here as I know it's a popular spot!

We're planning on camping at Sallochy on Loch Lomond in late May and can't decide between the 'central' vs 'loch-side' pitches. Does anyone have any feelings about one vs the other?

I'm assuming that the whole campsite will be pretty rough midge-wise at that time of year.
