What does it mean when you don't get jitters and butterflies when meeting your crush?
I met someone through work (I was a consultant for this guy's partner organisation). The first time we met I didn't think of him afterwards. He didn't leave a particular impression or anything, we talked briefly maybe 5-10 minutes.
Two months later we reconnected through LinkedIn and I got his number, I shared with him some useful information about work and we also talked about how I was going with school.
Seven months later, after we first met, I texted him asking if he was still in the country and if his organisation operated in a certain location. Instead, he responded saying how are you and if we can meet up. I did not think of it as him asking me out or anything at the time. Long story short, we met up and ended up talking for 3 hours mostly just about life and politics and the sector we work in. At the end of the meeting he paid and gave me a hug, when I extended my hand for a handshake. I went home and could not stop thinking about him since. I have developed a huge crush on him.
We met again last week, I was invited to his office for a meeting with his team. We spent another two hours.
The thing is when I look at him or when I'm with him, I feel so steady. There is no jitters and butterflies that I normally get with my other crushes. It never happened to me before. I always get butterflies in my stomach with all my past crushes. What does it mean? Has it happened to you before?
