What would you do?

If something absolutely unbelievable happened to you, who would you tell? Would you post about it online and get berated? Would you seek out professionals? What professionals? Say it was alien/spirit world related. What professionals? What would your options even be?

Say it was a once in a multiverse experience? Who would even believe you? Or even if they did… what could they even do?

I think about these. I think about people’s personal experiences with God. Some people claim they have a relationship with God. Some people say they’ve seen an alien spaceship. Some people say they’ve seen Bigfoot. Some people report their near death experiences.

They’re most overlooked. They’re mostly mocked. They’re mostly ridiculed.

I don’t agree with that. You know? In a world where it’s hard enough to even just prove your innocence when some fake friend or cheating spouse runs their ignorant mouth, and that event all but destroys your standing in society… what about if you experienced something like most people write off as superstitious? Or just completely insane sounding?

I think the message here is that this is a mind blowing universe, and we all just think, oh yeah, the universe, whatever. We live on Earth! That stuff doesn’t apply to us! God! Who?! (Gotta love the atheists. Ignorant as fuck since they caught those George Carlin specials in the late 80’s…)

I don’t know. I just wish more people would listen to each other for two seconds before making up their minds. Just to prove their limited world view is correct. Just to protect their understanding of the truth as they know it. They just resort to the worst kinds of insulting mistreatment of others. It’s embarrassing. Are you really so closed-minded?

I have had these kinds of experiences happen to me personally. Things so alien and strange that most people just want to file it away in a category and forget about it. That’s a very common problem I have noticed.

The point of this post is to put the question to you. What would you do if something otherworldly got involved? How would do deal with it? How would you hope that others would respond?

Just a thought experiment. I hope it helps to picture yourself in a situation like that. Maybe next time someone has an experience, who won’t just do a lot of victim blaming in the process if they have the courage to share.
