240V dryer outlet wont charge my 2026 ix

Received my 2026 ix60 last week. trying to save money by using a converter/splitter from my dryer outlet that is Nema 10-30 to 14-50. have tried 3 different ones and they wont work. the charger doesnt turn blue, stays orange with a small red light on the bottom of it. i set my setting to charge up to 24amp and 80% but still a no go. please help. what am i doing wrong?
