Delta Premium Select Worth Extra

I’m currently looking at Delta one way from HNL to LHR in Late Feb next year [May be Early March I go] Main Cabin is $480, Comfort Plus is $560 [Seems no brainer to go for Comfort plus for a extra 80 dollars on a 16 hour one stop flight].

But delta want $1803 for Premium Select Classic or $2118 Premium Select Extra so you get Delta First on on HNL - SEA flight.

I’m thinking at over three times the price of Comfort plus that might be a bit much. Thinking might be good idea to buy comfort plus soon on date I want go and look for future upgrade prices ?
