Aggressive style transfer in batch on ComfyUI + RunPod , what's your go-to workflow?

Help Needed

Looking for a proven ComfyUI workflow to apply aggressive style transfer across ~90 images on RunPod. Not subtle blending — I want the reference style to hit hard and override surface-level imperfections while keeping the composition and structure intact.

What I need

Batch process ~800 images against 1-3 reference style images

Aggressive transfer — I want it to repaint textures, surfaces, sky, etc. while preserving overall geometry/composition

Preserve structure — ControlNet depth or canny to lock composition

RunPod — RTX 4090 or L40, official ComfyUI template

What I've looked at so far

IPAdapter + ControlNet Depth/Canny — seems like the standard approach. How aggressive can you push IPAdapter weight before it falls apart?

Qwen Image Edit — instruction-based, but not sure it can do true style transfer at high strength

FLUX Klein inpaint — has color matching built in which is nice

LoRA trained on reference style — nuclear option, probably overkill for 90 images

Questions

What's your go-to node combo for aggressive style transfer that actually overwrites the source texture?

Best way to batch this on RunPod — API queue method, or CSV/JSON input loader?

Anyone pushed IPAdapter weight past 1.0? What breaks first?

SDXL vs Flux for style transfer in 2026 — what's actually better in practice?

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!
