is it bad i don’t like the taste of myself?

hi! not sure if this is normal or not. my gf and i do down on each other a lot, and i think she tastes great, but i hate tasting myself off of her mouth. idk what it is but the taste and smell of me gives me the ick. is this normal? we made out yesterday after she ate me out and i was trying so hard not to gag, but id feel too bad asking her to brush her teeth or something afterwards because i just can’t handle myself lol.
