My thought after finishing Chaos;Child

So a while ago, I made a few posts about how much I disliked Chaos;Head, especially the main character. I even questioned whether I should bother playing Chaos;Child because my experience with C;H was so bad. But now, after finishing Chaos;Child in just about two weeks, I'm honestly blown away. In C;H I couldn't really connect with any of the characters, but in C;C I ended up loving almost all of them. The story is so much more fun to read and way more thrilling than anything I felt in C;H. I think it’s easily up there with Steins;Gate in terms of quality. Serika is probably my favorite character in the entire Science Adventure franchise at this point (though that might change once I play the other games). I also really appreciate that the True Ending isn't necessarily a “good” ending. I still have a few nitpicks, though. Wakui working for the Committee felt really out of nowhere, but I guess it wasn’t that bad since not everything needs heavy foreshadowing. I also wish we got more background for Mio, because we never really learn why she hates gigalomaniacs and the Committee as much as she does. There are a few other small things, but they’re so minor that I don’t really care. All in all, the game is really good, and the soundtrack is phenomenal as well. I just hope the rest of the Science Adventure games will be as good as this.
