Nasty scrape on my car and other driver’s at the supermarket
I’ve been stuggling with post-partum depression lately and decided to make the effort to go out to the supermarket with the baby. There were no parent and child spaces so I found an end spot that would still allow me to have enough space to get the baby out of the car. Unfortunately it was a very busy car park and very difficult manoeuvre and I ended up scraping a parked car quite badly. In 20 years of driving I’ve not had a single scratch until now. I looked round to see a man laughing at my predicament which was very upsetting. I waited for the driver to return to their car and gave them my details and apologised profusely, and informed my insurance of the issue as soon as I got home. The other driver was kind and understanding thankfully. On the way home I was still so upset I fantasised about ending myself. I’m currently in therapy to discuss my issues. The point of this post is just to kindly ask you not to be that person that laughs at someone when they are down. I’ve noticed some comments in this sub where people are judged harshly/ridiculed for the even the smallest mistakes. You never know what someone is going through.
