Artem - from Cold Collar 1 to Mingler 11 [ progress report ]

Progress report on Artem,: Fat Horse Supreme.
This will cover my thoughts on the challenge thus far
+ my plans with him going forward. ★⋆｡🌀 °‧ 🪞★

I initially stopped making so many posts about Artem's progress because of the rapid pace he's been growing at, and I didn't want to make a ton of spam posts about the progress when in reality there wasn't much to share. I didn't have enough "fun facts" to post about Artem either, which was my original milestone postings for him.

My very first post about this journey / challenge was this one, and that was 20 days ago. That means that Artem has gotten from cold collar 1 to Mingler 11 in 20 days roughly, and I simply didn't want to spam everything.

Unfortunately I only ever made the one video with Artem's progress from Cold Collar to Name Dropper, and while I have the clips for most of the events, they're not in any particular order and it's hard for me to know what is what and where it needs to go in regards to suits. So I'll probably just compile all those clips into a google drive link or something. They take up lots of space on my computer cause there are so many...

Anyways --- here are my plans going forward:

• VP 50 at minimum laff and no gags ever used*

This is still the first goal. And I decided the following:

- Going from VP 49 to VP 50 is going to be a planned event! I want to bring my friends who are pretty iconic to this journey with Artem ( Sir Rollie, Princess Whitney, and Moe ), as well as as whoever else can join. Since I want to have 3 slots available for those friends, that means I will be able to bring an additional 4 toons if anyone is interested in this special moment.

I want to try and coordinate outfits. as lame as that may be, I (and others I've mentioned it to) think it's a fun idea. There is also someone who occasionally cosplays as Artem in VPs, that's where I got the idea from. I'll have a few different outfits to choose from since some of artem's fits are not easily obtainable.

- At 13 Hollywood, I will probably begin to SOS Shop with Artem. Artem gets a lot of restock gags, and while this is great in some cases, it is... not ever really needed in whatever Artem is doing. Artem frequently doesn't use those SOS because no one needs the restocks in VPs. They'll be handy for my future challenges with him, but right now they clutter up space and make it hard for me to find SOS that will help the fights he's actively in.

Once Artem is at 50 Hollywood, I will be creating and posting a drawing of EVERY TOON I HAVE FOOTAGE OR SCREENSHOTS OF in a VP with Artem and will be posting to this subreddit.

This is how I want to show my appreciation to those who have partaken in this - be it just once or many times. I can't do every single person especially if I don't have a screenshot of your toon or any footage of them, since that's probably well over 100 toons. I originally was only gonna do the 10 most frequent, but I changed my mind. So if you want to guarantee a spot in this, let me take a screenshot of you!

^(( note - I will be drawing the toons in my style based on what vibe I get from the fit and such. so, I might give your toon a hair style that may not be what you'd give, this is just bc I'm essentially winging a design based on an avatar))

• Maxing out: Fishing, Golf, Racing, and Gardening ( gains a 20+ boost total, making him become a laff 41 by the end)
• Club President Clubs ( First Fairway / Front 3 grind )
  • MAYBE I will do the other supervisors as well, but I'm not sure yet. I mainly want the clubs because they're "artem coded" for his lore. Like it makes sense for him to have the clubs.

I'm probably gonna do these two in sync with each other. I have NO idea how long it will actually take for artem to get the clubs - I know it's a gacha system and eventually you'll hit pity around 250 First fairways? That's more or less what I was told a least, so it will be at minimum 250 first fairways and it'll be rough since art doesn't use gags. But I'm hoping he'll have lots of SOS by the time he's doing this.

*for some reason artem has 9 throw xp. I made him 11 years ago so IDK why he has that xp but he does. as long as I don't level it up, I say it doesn't matter. artem has a lot of old exclusive outfits and accessories that I don't want him to lose by having remade him.

What's next for Artem after all of this is completed?

This is a question I get asked by a handful of toons. And honestly, whatever Artem can do as a minimum laffer without gag experience what-so-ever is what I plan to do. Because of his play style, Artem is pretty much restricted from doing any other boss unless there is an event that opens those bosses up for all toons. I accept his restrictions without complaint because this is my own choice for him.

I suspect that the maxing out racing, golf, garden, and fishing will take a long time, and honestly It's not like Artem won't do VPs after he maxes out Hollywood. I still want to join those whenever I feel. So I think he's still got a lot of gameplay hours still in him :)

And also, IDK how many people know - I think I share this freely - but Artem is actually part of my tooniverse ( fanfiction universe ), with a lot of the growth and experiences I have on TTR with him being canon to his tooniverse growth. So I'll probably be sharing artwork, stories, and more with him. I plan to release a full written Artem biography soon, and release it once he's a level 12 hollywood.
