Would there ever be a point when the American people would fight back?

Or would they just lay down and take it over and over again no matter what?

Because I'm starting to think that literally nothing the Trump admin could do would make anyone stand up or do anything other than these No Kings protests and 1 single fucking day of strike.

It's starting to worry me. I have a very strong feeling that come midterms, there's going to be heavy cheating, and every single branch of the government will be filled to the brim, overflowing with people that support Trump and want to destroy America to reshape it in their fucked up image.

And the American people would just lie down and take it, maybe some protesting here and there, which would immediately die off as soon as they're threatened to stop protesting.

Then the other side, while having their rights stripped away, losing all their healthcare, cost of living rising and being made homeless, will still put Trump up on a pedestal and worship him as a god while they get priced out of their homes, going online to say liberal tears are delicious and everyone else has TDS.

I have a very bad feeling America is very quickly on it's way to becoming a nation like North Korea, China, or Nazi Germany, and the only two kinds of people will be people cheering for it, and people twiddling their thumbs saying there's nothing they can do.
And America is fucking doomed.

Would they ever actually do anything that actually makes any kind of a difference at all? Or are they just going to lie down and accept the rape of themselves and what America was built on?
