Burlesque act help: comedic concept but unsure about final reveal look

Hi! I’m working on a burlesque act for a Mother’s Day brunch show and would love some feedback on my concept and especially my final reveal look.

My act is a comedic take on “weaponized incompetence” during spring cleaning. I’m playing an overconfident partner who insists on helping but keeps doing everything wrong (missing the laundry basket, cleaning incorrectly, etc.), with reveals built into the chaos.

I start in a semi-sheer button-down and pinstripe pants (slightly messy/masculine styling), and I’m trying to figure out the best direction for my final look underneath.

I’m torn between:

leaning fully into a classic burlesque reveal (bra, garter, stockings)

keeping some masculine elements (like boxers or harness)

or doing something more stylized to match the satire

The show is in daylight (brunch, audience close to stage), so visibility matters too.

What kind of final look would you recommend to create a strong payoff while still fitting the concept?
