Burning pain at night only?

After 10+ years of ingrowns and just horrible toenail troubles, I got a full toenail avulsion on both big toes this week! It hasn’t been nearly as painful as anticipated, with the exception of a burning pain that wakes me up at night. I took a Tylenol, went to sleep, and the pain woke me up again 4 hours later.

I would say it’s overall more uncomfortable than painful during the day, as I spend all day at work on my feet.

Has anyone else had this intermittent, nighttime only, burning pain? Any and all information appreciated.

Having bad toes is such an isolating and embarrassing think sometimes, and it’s really affected my self esteem overall, so I love the community of this group :)
