I have no idea what I’m doing but I’m having a blast

Former destiny gremlin who just got the game and the two dlc’s on sale for 10$. Destiny obviously is at a low point and I needed something else to grind. So far level 22 and I feel like I’ve barely touched a lot of the systems. Only crafted a couple of things so far, I have no idea what’s considered good in this game. I don’t know what to spend my resources on (you want to dismantle your gear from your inventory for the mats right?). I don’t even know how to interact with the seasonal stuff. But god damn am I not getting the itch to log in and plow through a new zone in the story mode when I’m at work or afk. One of the reasons I put off playing it for so long is because I did play a bit of the first division and I remember the enemies being bullet sponges it didn’t feel fun. Haven’t ran into any ridiculously tanky enemies yet besides the flamethrower elites.

Is there any tips I should know about on my journey? Currently using sniper turret with healing drone. I plan to finish the base game first then do the level 30 dlc then the level 40 one. I have some level 40 gear and a shitload of caches at level 40 to open (bought the season pass level skip since I got the game for so cheap) which I’m saving even though I had to open some to make room for my at level, level up caches. I haven’t even looked up the endgame stuff yet I figured I could watch some endgame guides once I get to level 40. Are there any good up to date guides you guys would recommend for me to check out? I know this was a cluster of dumb questions but just wanted to say I’m having fun and plan on being part of this community for the foreseeable future, and any tips you could give me would be appreciated!
