Celestron Regal Premium Tripod for S30 Pro EQ Mode

Visual astronomer here that's really close to pulling the trigger on purchasing an S30 Pro and have a question about tripods and EQ mode.

I have a Celestron Regal Premium tripod that has a 8.8 lb capacity.

Weight shouldn't be an issue, and I've watched some videos of people setting up EQ mode on basic tripods like mine, and I've also read of people swapping out tripod heads for the TH10 or INNOREL and adding levelers and much more.

I know I will need a 1/4" to 3/8" adapter for the mounting plate, but after that will this tripod work for EQ mode on an S30 Pro, or will I need to upgrade my tripod?
