Advice on changing industries with minimal to no experience?

I have to change industries. I’m currently a management-level line cook but it’s absolutely killing my back, neck, shoulders. It’s highly physically demanding and I can’t do it anymore. I have chronic pain from old scoliosis and I feel like I make it worse every week I return to work.

I need something that I won’t have to lift, bend, scrub, but, all of my experience is in food service/kitchens so I’m feeling a little lost. I have some sales experience but I’d rather die than do canvassing or cold calling again.

Everything that’s hiring is fast food or entry sales, none of them even close to the $20 an hour I make currently, and I’d really like to make around the same. I’ll take a dollar or two less cause I really don’t want to screw up my back too bad but nothing less than 18.
