Thinking I'm trans, should I wait?

14 years old, I've kinda realized that all the signs about point to me being trans, (mtf) but I don't really know what to do about it, I was probably just going to wait until I'm older to make a proper decision but I always hear from trans people everywhere that they "wish they'd transitioned sooner". The thought of being trans sounds great to me, but I hate the thought of telling people. Should I give myself more time to think about it?
